By accessing and using the Movingly platform ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Movingly is a marketplace platform that connects customers with removalist professionals. We facilitate the connection between parties but are not directly involved in the moving services provided.

3. User Responsibilities

Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Ensure proper access to properties on moving day
  • Pack and prepare items appropriately
  • Pay agreed-upon fees to removalists
  • Treat removalist professionals with respect

Removalist Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper insurance and licensing
  • Provide accurate quotes and pricing
  • Arrive on time and complete work professionally
  • Handle items with care and respect
  • Maintain professional conduct throughout

4. Service Limitations

Movingly acts as an intermediary platform. We do not:

  • Provide moving services directly
  • Guarantee the quality of removalist services
  • Handle payments between customers and removalists
  • Provide insurance coverage for moves
  • Accept liability for damages or losses

5. Payment and Fees

All payments are made directly between customers and removalists. Movingly may charge service fees for platform usage, which will be clearly disclosed.

Removalists are responsible for setting their own rates and payment terms. Customers should review and agree to these terms before confirming bookings.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary by removalist and should be discussed before booking. Movingly's platform fees may be non-refundable.

In case of service issues, customers should first attempt to resolve matters directly with the removalist. Movingly may assist in mediation but does not guarantee refunds.

7. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Movingly and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Movingly makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Movingly, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
